Functional Individual Therapy of Scoliosis

Advantages of the FITS Method

The method is recommended worldwide

Our method is recognized and recommended by the International Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT) for the treatment of children with scoliosis.

Individual approach

Therapy and exercises are determined for each patient individually after a detailed posture examination, depending on the child’s age, angle of curvatures, number of curves and asymmetries finding during the posture examination.

Home exercises

An element of our method is the selection and learning of individually adjusted exercises for each patient with the recommendation of maximum precision during their performance.

Awareness of the patient and parents

We explain an existing spine defect in an X-ray. We discuss scoliosis on the model of the spine and we use biofeedback so that the child can see his figure (also from the back and in forward bending ).

Auto correction

Awareness and learning to maintain the correct sitting and standing position during everyday activities.

Improving the patient’s appearance

Improving body posture as a result of systematic, individually adapted therapy and precise performance of home exercises.
